Attention All Students: Weekend program sponsored by the Harvard College VISION: Global Health Society:

This coming April, Harvard will be hosting our second annual Harvard College Global Health and Leadership Conference, which provides an opportunity for ambitious high school students to share about their experiences with community engagement and learn from guest speakers and groups here at Harvard. We would appreciate if you passed this opportunity along to students in your school, as we feel this would be an amazing opportunity for young students to engage with global health topics and develop their communication and leadership skills. We look forward to applications from students of all backgrounds, and hope to see students from Wayland High School apply and hopefully attend!

The Harvard College Global Health and Leadership Conference will be at Harvard on April 28th and 29th from 10-4pm. The conference is $15 for one day (Saturday or Sunday) and $20 for the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) for students.

Over the course of 17 sessions, participants will work as a team to award $10,000 in grants to youth-serving nonprofits.

· YIP Natick will meet Thursdays from 7-8:30pm starting Sept. 14

· YIP Sudbury will meet Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm starting Sept. 19

Data backup is the responsibility of ALL students.

It is very important that everyone backup ALL important data from your MacBook Air over the weekend to Google Drive, Dropbox or with Time Machine.

Here is a link to info regarding your built in backup utility: Time Machine
Time Machine is the built-in backup that works with your Mac and an external drive or Time Capsule (purchased separately). Connect the drive, tell Time Machine to use it. Time Machine automatically backs up your entire Mac, including system files, applications, accounts, preferences, email messages, music, photos, movies, and documents. Time Machine keeps hourly backups for the past 24 hours, daily backups for the past month, and weekly backups until your backup drive is full.
