In a fun, supportive environment Lovelane provides high-quality therapeutic horseback riding lessons to children with special needs. Supporting and funding our program requires a lot of work in the office, barn, and riding arena.  The ideal intern is someone who is self-motivated, energetic, reliable, and flexible; up for a physical challenge, highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Office, and open to performing a variety of tasks.  This internship is a great experience for anyone interested in working with a non-profit or with disabled children and horses. Some horse experience is great but not required as we offer training.  Interns get to take a very active role in the program, working closely with Lovelane’s staff.  Due to the high cost of maintaining our horses and facility, this is an unpaid internship - but it is a wonderful and rewarding experience!  Interns are required to make a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week for at least eight weeks.  For more information, check out our website:   If you are interested in this position and would like to apply please call Lisa at 781/259-1177 x26 or email your resume and cover letter to (subject heading “program internship”).  (posted 08-29-2017)

We are seeking summer help at a large estate in Weston. We will need someone who is punctual, hardworking and honest.
The position will require some heavy lifting so the candidate should be strong, and willing to work extra hours when needed (rare). We sometimes require weekend work for parties, parking cars and helping with setup and takedown, but this is rare.

Some knowledge of horticulture a plus. We will be doing daily maintenance of a large, fine estate, and this sometimes requires grounds keeping, painting, light tree and shrub work and cleaning. Most of the landscaping and treework is done by outside contractors so no climbing or mowing involved. Candidate should also be able to work very carefully inside a fine home with extreme care given to the home and furnishings.

A positive attitude and pleasant demeanor is required. The position pays $15.00 dollars/hour and the pay schedule is weekly.
A self starter who is motivated, punctual and honest is sought. Hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
