A Wayland resident is looking for someone who can help them with IT technical issues, specifically GOOGLE. They are familiar and comfortable with Outlook and Word, but their new position uses GOOGLE.
Everything is new to this Wayland resident including Calendar, meeting up, the drive, sharing documents. etc… They have been trying to find instructions using YouTube and have been somewhat successful, but would like individualized personal instruction in areas that prove to be difficult or beyond their reach.
This could be an ongoing on-call position beginning with one or two tutorial sessions and later involving on-the-spot sporadic questions. A student who is patient and who has clear communication skills is a plus. The resident is happy to work around your schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The goal of the Library Aide is to upkeep and maintain high-levels of organization and tidiness in the Library by means of the following duties:
Returning Samples
- Sort samples by type and by vendor
- File samples in the proper location
Sales Reps
- Provide preliminary direction to sales reps when they update (i.e. location of their product, hand out Guideline sheet)
- List which sales rep needs to update/reduce their sample stock and keep a log or sign-up sheet for when they come in. This will be coordinated with interns and admin.
New Items
- Display new items for one week at a time
- Date items that will be added to the Library
- Give rejected items to Sales Reps when they pick up
Other duties
- Assist our Librarian as needed
- Keep all bins and shelves tidy
- Empty trash bins when full
- Assist Designers if they need help finding items or returning unused items
- Keep track of ongoing projects and who is working on them. Periodically check to see if ongoing items can be put away.
