Boys Lacrosse - Game Change / AB (5/15)

Today's game (5/15) vs. Acton Boxboro has changed. The JV will play at 430pm on Leary Field in Acton. The varsity will play at 6pm on Leary Field .

Please make note of the following change.

Wayland Baseball Game vs Weston - 5/14

Hey Folks,

Monday's (5/14) away baseball game versus Weston will be played to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society.

The game is at 7pm.

Wayland will be wearing purple socks in honor of a Jim Griffin who passed this last year of pancreatic cancer.

Weston will be wearing pink shoelaces in honor of the many family members and friends who have been affected by breast cancer.

*Admission to the game will be $5.

*There will be a donation table at the game if you would like to donate more via cash or a check.

*Other possibilities: concessions, a 50-50 raffle, etc.

Please consider coming out and supporting this great cause as well as the baseball team!

SOCIAL HOST LAW

 Next Tuesday night, May 15th at 7:30PM Atty. John Scheft, who will be discussing social host laws. There are direct tie-ins with the Class Action curriculum taught to sophomores but all students should be encouraged to attend. 
The program will be held in the lecture hall.

GIRLS SWIM - ISABEL SCHWARTZ

Congratulations to Isabel Schwartz for being selected as the MIAA/NESN Student-Athlete of the Month for April 2012.  The following information has been posted on the MIAA website regarding his selection:

Isabel will also be invited to attend a Coach of the Year/Student-Athlete of the Month banquet at the MIAA Office on May 30.  Additional information will be sent to Isabel about this event.

Wayland Community members will play members of the AFC Champion
New England Patriots tonight at the Wayland Feild House.

Admission at the door, concessions and a whole lot of fun. Autographs from players will be available during half time.
 
Proceeds will aid the Wayland Boosters program.

1a. Go to Wayland Athletics page (www.wayland.k12.ma.us)
1b. Click on “schedules” link on left side of page – this will direct you to the highschoolsports.net website.

OR

2a. Go to www.highschoolsports.net website
2b. Type in wayland high school in “find school” search bar (top of page)
2c. Click on Wayland high school link

3. Click on “Change sport” tab in center of page
4. Scroll down to specified sport, then click sport
5. Click on “season” link (located underneath “change sport” tab)
