Wayland High School Scholarship Program

The mission of our community's scholarship program is to provide financial awards to Wayland High School seniors who have a demonstrated need and show academic promise. Your continued support is essential to helping us meet this goal.

Due to the generous contributions we have received from individuals and businesses in our community, the Wayland High School Scholarship Program was able to distribute $93,000 to 24 deserving graduates in 2022.

During these uncertain times, it’s even more important for us to come together as a community and support our students. We would gratefully appreciate your generous, tax-deductible contribution again this year - please select "Make a Donation" on the side navigation bar to make your contribution.

The WHS Scholarship Committee was created by the Wayland School Committee in 1978 to raise money and provide financial aid for graduating seniors to further their education. We are comprised of eleven citizen members and other ex officio members, several of whom are employees of the Wayland Public Schools. We meet monthly, solicit donations, invest the money we receive, and at the end of every school year we award scholarships to qualified graduating seniors to assist in their first year of college.
